ISRM National Spa Pool Plant Operators Certificate
This is a two day training course based upon the ISRM Spa Pool Manual. It is intended for staff who already have a basic knowledge and understanding of spa pools and offers them the chance to gain a nationally recognised qualification.
Course Aim
The aim of this course is to provide a detailed understanding of the design and operation of spa pools by examining the contamination of spa pool water and the treatment processes for that water through each of the component parts of the spa.
The course investigates the water testing protocols and the interpretation of results with an overview of the health and safety implications and of the need to operate within specified guidelines.

- Contamination of spa water
- Circulation and filtration
- Component parts of spa
- Chemical treatment of spa water
- Testing of spa water
- Chemical dosing systems
- Health and safety
- Cleaning of spas
- Safe use and operation of spas
Who Should Attend?
All persons who have an operational, supervisory or managerial responsibility for spa pools within their sport and leisure facilities.
