This one day course provides learners with a basic understanding of the operations of swimming pools and other types of pools and also provides the knowledge and skills required to be able to competently carry out pool water testing and to understand how to interpret pool readings. This course is ideal for lifeguards who carry out water testing or as part of an induction for new staff.

This course is accredited at Level 2 on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).

The industry recommends that you should refresh your Level 3 Pool Plant Operator certificate every 3 years. Keep your knowledge current by updating your existing qualification by completing this externally endorsed and certificated training programme for operators who already hold a Level 3 certification.
